Many people use an inappropriate definition for grace. They use, "God's unmerited favor." Now that is a valid definition; but in many cases in the Bible grace means something more. It means, the desire and power to do God's will, placed on a person by God. This is the grace I am referring to in the Grace song. Grace is the empowerment God gives to us to do what is right. When God gives us grace He is giving us the power (mentally, and physically) to do His will. In Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary the 3rd definition of grace is...

Favorable influence of God; divine influence or the influence of the spirit, in renewing the heart and restraining from sin.

After my reformation (refer to Home page) at age 14. I noticed grace being manifested in my life. Grace has been one of the greatest joys in my life. To not have to worry about falling into sin again. God will take care of me.
