I tell you folks. It was another monumental day on Sunday. Yet another best day yet. Church was at our house.

It is so fun to chronicle the works of God. Allow me to recount them, even if it's only so I can remember them myself. We were telling ways how God had been moving in us over the last couple weeks...

Leah, and Lucy sang a song they wrote together about heaven. They're good friends, 10yrs and 13yrs. I'm glad they did it together, togetherness is good. It was sweet. I know it took some guts. I'll have to record them sometime.

The Carriager and Heyworth families went on a trip to Florida. Here's some things that happened...

Mr. Heyworth got to talk with his uncle about salvation, and told him these... Romans 8:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. He still needs to be kept in prayer to make the leap into salvation.

Sarah H. got saved! It was in their van and all her sisters helped her through

Even though Mrs. Heyworth did not believe God would help here find her contact, that it was thoroughly lost, God was faithful and there it was, unharmed. 2Titus 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Mr. Carriager talked about hearing Mr. Hey' sing "Isn't it wonderful to be a Christian" this past week. He also saw some people pointing at little smiley faces on there beer cans and saying that that made them happy. Mr. Carriager was so thankful that his happiness is not in a little can. It is much bigger. Then Leah and Mr. Heyworth sang the song.
In the afternoon and evening I enjoyed talking with some of the guys about something I have been thinking on lately. It's that we need to call things like God calls them. What God calls good in us, we need to call good; and what He calls bad in us, we need to call bad. Basically it's agreeing with God. We need to open our hearts to God so He can search them. When He reveals something wrong we need to confess it as sin. Don't ignore it, or cover it over, just 'fess up. Agree with God, sin is sin, name it as it is. Proverbs 28:13 "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." But don't stop there. Realize that God has given you victory. As many scriptures attest, Jesus beat sin. This is what God says, personalize it... I am a new creation, all is become new (2Corinthians 5:17); My old body of sin is destroyed, I do not serve sin (Romans 6:6); I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength (Matthew 22:37); I am free from the Law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)

Gotta' root out the sin, and claim God's victory! Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. It's a fun fight brothers and sisters, fun, fun fun.

The warmth is here. It's volleyball time again.

Sometimes I wonder about that brother of mine.

Here's my favorite picture of the day. I gave the kids a tractor ride in the evening.
