1. What is
Fellowship?A message for believers from 1 John We find the words "abide," "walk," and "know" in this passage. Fellowship could be defined as friendship. We need fellowship with God, and with other believers. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3 2. How to Have Fellowship With God The believer has a responsibility to maintain fellowship with the Lord. This is built by confession and repentance of our sins, and by walking in His ways. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked. 1 John 2:6 3. The Joy of Fellowship What a FULL and JOYFUL life it is to live in fellowship with God and other believers! And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1 John 1:4 Comments Appriciated! |
