Mid Summer 2015

At the 2015 Oakland County 4-H Fair...

Amity working on her first-ever entries for the Fair!

Our tomato plant

Amanda's latch-hook. After working on it for 8 years, she finally finished it just in time for Fair.

Amanda's cake

Amity talking to the judges about her projects

The ribbon she won for her tracing and hand-sewn card projects

Working with Child Evangelism Fellowship

Amanda sharing the Wordless Book

We watched the Pig Races so many times I think I've memorized all their jokes. They never grow old!

Camping at the Fair...

Shiloh wrote his name for the first time

They love the rain.

Justus at the Figure-8 race.

The kids call it the "Noisy Cars"

The Walker family

Mama Biddinger, Susanna, and Gracie Johnson came to visit us there...

This is a very scary ride... Particularly when you're standing on the ground helplessly watching your 3-year-old son trying to stand up and reach the seat in front of him--while it's spinning 20 feet in the air! Praise God for keeping him safe!

Other Fair activities...

The Teddy Bear Parade...

I sure love having these three little kids. God has been good to me...

Psalm 127
1. Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
3. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
