Post 153

I’ve been thinking about fellowship from 1John lately. See, there are two types of fellowship. First the vertical fellowship between us and God. Then there’s the horizontal fellowship between us and others. See the smiley face in the drawing below? For me that’s me, and for you that’s you. So point to yourself with one hand while pointing at the smiley with your other hand and say “That’s me”. See the line going straight up from the smiley? That shows your fellowship with God when you come to Him through Jesus, and then communicate with Him through heartfelt prayer and Bible personalizing. The horizontal lines going out from the smiley on both sides are your fellowship with others in the Lord, speaking with them of God. But soon something very special happens, these two fellowships begin to be interwoven into one. The more time spent alone in fellowship with God the more you want to tell others of Him. And the more you speak with others of Him, the more time you want to spend with Him. And soon it is just one big wonderful triangle known as Fellowship. This is where that supernatural fullness of joy comes in. Read all about it the book of 1John in the Bible.

1John 1:3,4 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

Here's a few of Joseph LaQuiere's 40th surprise party...

Here he is with his wife and children.

...really nice to see all those folks again. Very consistent faithful people.

Funny, isn't it?

This is Noah (from GR) He is quite the gardener, he showed me all their plants.

Backyard fellowship.

We've been doing quite a bit of dirt work lately. It's a Bendixen family tradition.
See it all started back in Key Largo Florida where my grandfather Ben (George Bendixen) lived on the ocean side. He continually had dirt dumped into his ocean thus extending his land. Then he relocated to a mountainside location in Los Gatos California where he lives today. His mountainside is right beside a valley when he has been continually filling in and gaining more useable land. Now his son, and grandsons continue the tradition, faithfully holding the family tradition. We call it the eternal quest for land.

Course the girls aren't Bendixen's, they're just along for the ride.

Jet found this little puppy and made friends.

I'm still giving swing rides out by the road. Loads of them, I love it.

Lucy and I. God bless her, she's so sweet.

My mom's always been famous for her explosive laugh. Her she is at her finest!

Grandmothers. I thank God they can be close to us.

Sammy and Elisabeth in a really cool hat.

Praying hands. They picture fervency in prayer.

They’re my own hands, and they drew themselves.

This was my subject. I took the photo, then referenced it while sketching them out. I really thank the Lord, He helped me draw them very well.

That Eleazar. He really gets into those pictures :-)

Hope you like creepy things, I happened across a few...

This guy had a 6 inch wing span. Whew, creepy!

The one was beautiful. He just landed on my shirt and posed for me.

Who can tell me what this is?

Well it's been over a month and I have many pictures to share. These were some of them. More to come next time.

We’ve overhauled our computer systems in the past month. Hopefully it will keep life a little simpler, and help me focus on eternal things instead of computers. I think as computers age they start to suffer from physiological issues, they think they can run the humans instead of the humans running them. Thanks to much prayer and hard work, I think we’ve got them wiped back into submission here.

For any of you that would like to use the Recent Updates Feed, I fixed a glitch that was probably giving you some trouble, it should work better now.

Fight on King Jesus!
