The Glory Song in C 1.Down in the noisy small valley, somewhere near jubilation brook, There’s a little band of Glories who sang as loud as they could: Chorus: Hallelujah, Halle’, Hallelujah, Halle’ Hallelujah, Amen! Hallelujah, Halle’, Hallelujah, Halle’ Hallelujah, Amen! 2.Their vocabulary wasn’t enormous, in fact it was really quite small. If it wasn’t worth saying “hallelujah”, it wasn’t worth saying at all. Instead of legs they had bed springs, to help them in jumping around. With tambourines at their ready, this is how they looked and sound. 3.Well these little folks always were happy, their grins reached from ear to ear. They always had lots to praise God for, and never had nothing to fear. Well the Glories, they had opposition, the Miseries were the name of their foes. They hated to see Glories happy, and this song just curled their toes: 4.Well the Miseries decided to take action. While the Glories were sleeping they’d slip Up to them and crinkle their bed springs, with a needle they’d sew up their lip But as they slipped into the Glory camp, they panicked and soon they were gone. For all the sleeping little Glories, were merrily snoring this song: 5.Well of course this song has a meaning, and this is the point to the story: Life on this earth can be misery, or life on this earth can be GLORY!
